Pure Elegance Weddings organized a 40th Birthday Party with a bit of a difference. (Fancy Dress karaoke/disco). It was a double birthday party for husband and wife. The venue was booked due to location and disabled facilities. Few of the guests where in wheelchairs, as was the birthday girl.

Family and friends attended, all had a smashing time, with buffet, disco and karaoke.  (Pictures in Gallery page).

Recently, I was asked to do an article about my business and the services I offer and why I offer my services to disabled couples. The article is to go out to disabled and wedding magazines. Once I have more information on which magazines my article has been published, I will let you know.

The Sunday Star has also asked me to do an article for their Sunday supplement. This is something I hope will give me exposure to disabled couples and make them aware of the services I offer and the help they may need and want when getting married.

The wedding planner course I took last year, was with a company called ICS. I'm glad to say I passed with flying colours.

I enjoyed every minute of my course, I found it interesting and I obviously learned a lot from this course.

My final exam was taken the end of last year, which again I passed.

There are a few wedding planning courses around, which I am looking into. As I am considering taking a second course to keep myself up to date and current for my clients.

The birthday boy says:

"Thank you for all your help. You made our party go so smoothly. You made sure all was in place for us and we had lots of stress free time to just enjoy ourselves".
