Why do I need a wedding planner, I am a good organizer?
A wedding planner’s job is to get you what YOU want, within YOUR budget, and with as little stress to you as possible, and we will do this by working “with you”. A planner will use their connections in the industry to help you make cost savings and will try to work in their fee within your budget too. The service is definitely not for big budget weddings only. A planner is especially beneficial to those that have busy careers, are juggling family life, or don’t live in the location where they wish to marry. Pure Elegance Weddings & Events will source the very best suppliers to fit in with your budget or any specific requests.
Can I afford to hire Pure Elegance Weddings & Events?
Yes, absolutely! Pure Elegance Weddings & Events offer tailored services for YOU, depending on your budget and unique requirements. As a guide, here are some figures. A full planning serving is £3,000 (Incl On the Day co-ordination). The must have on-the-day coordination service is £400 (though we begin working on your wedding 4 weeks prior to the big day). Some clients just want us to perform one vital function such as sourcing a venue and this service is just £150. To discuss your requirements or for more information, please do not hesitate to Contact Us.
Is the price I see, the price I pay?
Yes, we pride ourselves on being up front with no hidden extras. Our fees are a flat rate price, (excluding bespoke service, where price is based on services required), not percentage based. This way you can be sure to have more of your budget available for your wedding. We have explained what is included in each of our services that we offer.
Do you take commission for using your suppliers?
NEVER is the simple answer. All suppliers are sourced personally for you, based on your requirements and needs. If any savings are to be made, these will ALWAYS be passed onto you.
Your in a wheelchair, I'm not disabled but want to hire you. How can you help me?
All our clients are treated with respect, consideration and professionalism. The only limitations my wheelchair would pose for able bodied clients, would be if your chosen venue/ceremony venue are not wheelchair accessible. My husband and business partner Jeff would visit these venue's with you in place of myself. What I can not do physically, Jeff can.
I have booked a venue that have their own co-ordinator, so what help can you be?
From a venue co-ordinator point of view, yes, they will take care of all venue related aspects, but if the cars break down or the florist gets sick then the venue is not responsible, that’s down to you!”.........Bear in mind that the Hospitality Industry can have a high level of staff turnover. This can cause problems with pre-arranged requests and no designated point of contact. This will cause additional stress to what we believe should be a fun and exciting time. Hiring your own Professional Wedding Planner will provide you with consistency, peace of mind and the opportunity to benefit from the expertise provided by a professional and totally personal service. A Wedding Planner can assist with all areas of your planning from recommending reliable suppliers, finding you a perfect venue, managing your guest list and rsvp’s, give you the peace of mind that contingencies are in place, assist with details, themeing & styling plus review contracts and undertake those crucial time consuming tasks. Ultimately, a Planner will save you £££s on your wedding budget, save you from making expensive mistakes, keep you calm and ensure your day is perfect.

Normally for distances not excessively far, we can arrange a mutually convenient time and place to meet with you for the initial consultation. If you choose to hire us, we will keep in close contact with you during the planning process via your preferred method (phone/email/post) and will schedule face-to-face meetings. The meetings and level of contact will be included in the contract of service. All clients are given our 24 hour mobile number in the unlikely case of an emergency or you simply need to chat weddings!
I like being in control, I don't want to lose control on one of the most important day's of my life?
The role of a wedding planner is to help you get the day you want. With Pure Elegance Weddings & Events, ownership of your wedding is never lost, it will ALWAYS be your day, we are just there to help you achieve what you have dreamed of and make sure you know what to expect. I had a free consultation with another planner, but when I started asking about suppliers etc, They didn't seem too forthcoming?
A free initial consultation offered by most if not all wedding planners is primarily for the purpose for both parties to meet, get to know one another a little better and to discuss your vision of your wedding. You want to be sure you like your planner as you will be working closely with this person for some time. The same goes for the planner, they need to be sure that they can deliver your concept for your wedding. Once you have hired your wedding planner, they will then discuss all the different aspects of your wedding, what suppliers they feel would be able to help and deliver exactly what you want.
