About Us

Caroline Bathurst

Caroline founded Pure Elegance Weddings in 2009 after gaining her diploma from ICS as a professional wedding planner. She felt this was important as the wedding planning industry is unregulated.

As a disabled person and knowing just how difficult finding accessable venue's can be, she wanted to put her new found knowledge about weddings with what knowledge she had already about being disabled and offer her skills to disabled couple's wishing to get married. Caroline has an exceptional eye for detail, enthusiasm and a wonderful passion for weddings. Her attitude towards life is admiring, she is so down to earth and very practical.

It became apparent that as Caroline is in a wheelchair, there would be a couple of things physically that she would not be able to do, She decided the best way forward, would be to go into partnership with her husband Jeff.

Jeff Bathurst

Jeff has a diploma in 3D animations. This is a passion of his and requires imagination, an eye for detail and a lot of patience.

Jeff has worked with the public for over 10 years, He managed a very large aquarium outlet, which means he is extremely approachable and also down to earth. Jeff worked for Heathrow Airport and worked alongside many professional Captains and aircraft staff. Jeff's other passion is flying microlight aircraft. He has had his PPL for over 15 years.

Jeff followed the wedding planner course with Caroline, so is equally knowledgeable. Jeff and Caroline work extremely well together, bouncing ideas off each other and coming up with wonderful ideas for their clients.
